A man was arrested for giving his son a piercing.
Four police officers raided a home in Tontitown, Arkansas, to arrest 45-year-old Jeremy Sherland. He is accused of a criminal offense - he gave his son a piercing. The boy told the school that his father pierced his ear. The teachers immediately contacted the police: in Arkansas, it is prohibited to do body art to persons under 16 years of age, regardless of parental consent. The son asked to let his father go and shouted that he himself wanted his ear to be pierced. However, law enforcement officials turned out to be inexorable: the man was arrested and will soon face trial.
