He drove off a cliff to kill his family: Tesla driver was charged
Dharmesh Patel deliberately drove off a cliff in Northern California, investigators have concluded. The man was accused of attempted murder of his 41-year-old wife and his two children, 7 and 4 years old. The driver’s wife immediately after the incident said that this was not an accident, that Patel did it intentionally. Dashcam footage and eyewitness accounts indicate that the suspect abruptly and deliberately turned off the cliff after driving through a tunnel.
Recall that the Tesla car fell from a height of 250 feet (76 meters), but the driver and three passengers miraculously survived.
