Chinese criminal gang stole rights from “doubles” of illegal immigrants
The Texas Department of Public Safety said a Chinese crime group used the dark web to obtain information about Asian Americans and use it to order duplicate driver's licenses through a website. Offenders used addresses, maiden names and other illegally obtained data to answer questions during online ordering. Then, for $11, they received documents. A total of 2400 licenses were delivered, according to DPS. This is how illegal immigrants from China could pose as Americans. An investigation is now underway. The identities of some of the criminals were established.
