The largest US banks are preparing their wallet service
7 lenders, including Wells Fargo, JPMorgan Chase and Bank of America, are involved in developing a wallet competitor to PayPal and Apple Pay. The digital wallet will be available in the second half of this year and it is noted that 150 million bank clients will be able to immediately use it.
The new system will be led by Early Warning Services, the banking business behind the P2P payment service Zelle.
