Ford is recalling almost half a million SUVs: faulty rear view cameras have already led to accidents
The company has decided to recall 462 Ford Explorers from 2020-2023, as well as Lincoln Corsairs and Aviators.
Rear view cameras, which rotate 360 degrees, have defects: sometimes drivers see a blue screen instead of the situation on the road.
It is reported that faulty cameras have already led to at least 17 accidents, but fortunately no casualties.
