Best Russian Restaurants in Los Angeles

Despite the fact that most catering establishments in the United States are various types of burger and diner joints, in Los Angeles there are a lot of places that serve delicious salads, as well as restaurants serving European, Asian and Oriental cuisine. Even in Russia, I wasn’t a big fan of cooking borscht and baking kulebyaki, but here with work, a blog and other busy schedules, there’s no time left for cooking. Fortunately, in large American cities there will always be more than one establishment with Russian or Ukrainian cuisine. Today I’ll tell you about the restaurants we visited, from best to worst:

1️.Kalinka Russian Cuisine is a definite favorite

Very tasty dumplings, rich borscht and fresh Olivier. The menu also has a large selection of kebabs, kebabs, etc. We didn’t try it this time, but I’m sure it will be delicious. I recommend it to all locals!

2️. Traktir Restaurant

We visited this restaurant a long time ago, during the third month of our stay in the States. I don’t even remember everything we took then. There was definitely delicious borscht and Olivier. Our classic in places like this. I remember that we liked it, but there was a big check. Plus, the included 20% tip was very disappointing. Usually, when we enjoy ourselves, we leave a good tip ourselves, but I believe that this should always be at the discretion of the client

3️.Roberts Russian Cuisine

Robert's restaurant disappointed us: borscht without meat and stale Olivier. I only remember the very talkative and hospitable waiter, and the only thing that saved this place was the magic Napoleon, which we took to-go when leaving the restaurant. You even want to come back for it, a lot of delicious cream and crumbly dough.
