Refugees from Afghanistan and Ukrainians will receive the right to work and SSN

About immigration (many people ask to be kept informed), here is an update.

“In fiscal year 2022, 21 Russians were processed by US authorities at the southern border, compared to 763 people in 467. In October alone, 2020 people arrived,” reports The New York Times, citing data from local authorities.

Also on November 21, the US State Department announced that refugees from Afghanistan who received a parole and Ukrainians who came to America under the United for Ukraine (U4U) program would automatically receive the right to work and a social security number. They will not have to wait for months for work permits (Employment Authorization Document - EAD), as is the case now.
