Children are being deported from the US

If families migrate from the CIS countries, then hard life in conditions of extreme poverty and violence in the countries of Central America and Mexico pushes children and adolescents to flee to the United States without adults. Many children make the long and dangerous journey to the United States alone in search of protection. They are fleeing things like gang violence, recruitment, abuse and sexual harassment.

I briefly touched on the difficult topic of life in Mexico. The government does not provide free legal representation to children, regardless of their age. As a result, more than half of children are forced to go through immigration proceedings without the assistance of a lawyer. Unable to effectively argue their claims for legal protections to which they may be entitled, more than 80% of these children receive deportation orders. For many, this means returning to the danger they fled. For many, the shattered American dream results in increased violence and a further exacerbation of all existing problems.

There are organizations that provide such children with free lawyers. But you yourself understand that this is not enough for everyone.
