'House of horrors' in Crown Heights burns down
Yesterday the building at 222 Brooklyn Avenue burned down. Early this morning the flames destroyed the home. But its peculiarity is somewhat different. The house in Crown Heights has long been known as a place of real nightmares. Previously, the house belonged to the family of the “patriarch” Devernon LeGrand, who, along with his stepson, was convicted of the murder and dismemberment of two girls back in the 70s. Many people disappeared from home without a trace.
