The famous Luna Park at Coney Island in Brooklyn will have new attractions
This year the park celebrates its 120th anniversary. To celebrate the event, the park will feature roller coasters for younger children and new water activities. The season in the park opens on March 31. The program starts at 12 noon. This weekend they promise to christen the Cyclone attraction, which turns 96 years old. The first 96 guests will be able to ride it for free and receive a sweet dessert as a gift. And on Sunday, April 2, a charity day will be held in the Coney Island area: all proceeds from Luna Park will be sent to various children's charities. Until Memorial Day, May 29, the park will be open only on weekends and spring break, and then every day throughout the summer.
