New Yorkers can access free internet

The New York City Hall project is primarily designed for low-income residents of the metropolis. And the main task of officials is to install high-speed Internet in homes for low-income New Yorkers. The new program is called Big Apple Connect. Residents of low-income housing in the New York City Housing Authority system, known as NYCHA, will be able to sign up for the program and receive Internet and cable television absolutely free.

If you live in one of these homes, you can apply for a connection at nyc.gov. Also, if you receive benefits, you can also try filling out an application.
