Abby Zwerner, 25, an elementary school teacher from Virginia who was shot twice by her 6-year-old student on January 2, is suing. A woman is demanding $6 million in compensation from the school because its staff repeatedly ignored warnings that a shooting was possible. According to Zwerner, the school knew that a year before the incident the boy strangled his kindergarten teacher. It is worth noting that at this time no one has been charged with armed assault. The director of the scandalous school was fired, and his deputy voluntarily resigned.
