Queens street named after child killed by police

The corner of Route 112 and Guy R. Brewer Boulevard in South Jamaica was renamed in honor of Clifford Glover last Friday. The boy was only 10 when he was shot by an officer. On April 28, 1973, he walked with his stepfather to work. They were stopped by 2 unmarked cops who thought they were robbers. Clifford was then shot in the back. The officer involved was later found not guilty of murder.
