In Los Angeles, a participant in the storming of the Capitol, nicknamed Pink Beret, was detained

In Los Angeles, more than two years after the incident, one of the most mysterious and memorable participants in the storming of the Capitol was detained. Jennifer Inzuza Vargas, for obvious reasons, was nicknamed the Pink Beret, and her identity could not be established all this time. As a result, Ms. Vargas’s ex-boyfriend saw her photo on social networks in the FBI account with the note “the police are looking for them” and told law enforcement officers her identity.

Interestingly, in the case of another person who stormed the Capitol - Darrell Neely - the defendant is building a defense on the basis that the Pink Beret was an FBI provocateur.
