Klyushin's lawyers filed a motion for acquittal

Vladislav Klyushin was supposed to be sentenced on Friday. But everything is postponed: the defense filed a motion for acquittal on the grounds that the territorial jurisdiction of the case was determined incorrectly and the court lacks jurisdiction. The consideration of this petition is scheduled for May 23, but the question of the verdict is still up in the air and will be returned to it based on the results of the consideration of the petition. I read the motion itself diagonally, but the main idea is that the case is tied to the court in Massachusetts due to the location here of one of the servers to which illegal access was made, but the defense insists on an incorrect determination of the location of the server (and, therefore, and territorial jurisdiction). A similar request was already made during the trial, but was rejected by the court. Let's see how it goes this time.
