A drunk man from Colorado tried to pass off his dog as a driver.
In Springfield, police stopped a car for speeding. The officer waited while the driver fiddled around inside the car for a long time, and then he got out from the passenger side. The suspect reported that he was not driving the car. Officers saw a dog in the driver's seat. The police asked the man how much alcohol he drank, but he began to run away. As a result, the unfortunate driver was caught and arrested. The dog was not charged with any crime and was released with only a warning, police said.
