Rudy Giuliani's Former Employee Files Shocking Lawsuit

Giuliani hired plaintiff Noelle Dunphy in January 2019 while he was Trump's lawyer. Giuliani offered the position of business development manager, a salary of $1 million per year, and free representation in a dispute with a former intimate partner (this point is important because by offering such assistance, Giuliani became the plaintiff's lawyer and began to be subject to ethical restrictions). True, Giuliani asked for a favor: since he was in the process of divorce, and his wife and her lawyers were closely monitoring his finances, he asked not to make the fact of hiring public. Well, then, according to the statement of claim, Miss Dunphy found herself in outright hell. Citing Giuliani's recorded statement, he "wanted her from the moment of the interview." The former mayor of New York made it clear to an employee and client that fulfilling his sexual desires was a prerequisite for keeping her job and continuing to represent her interests. According to the lawsuit, Giuliani constantly drank alcohol and took Viagra, pointed at his penis and demanded that he "take care of it." The plaintiff recorded (with Giuliani's permission) when he offered her $300 to drop her lawsuit and "have sex with him like crazy." In general, the plaintiff refers to a large number of recordings (video or audio are not entirely clear). However, in the end, Giuliani did not pay either for sex or for the work that the plaintiff did (with the exception of individual cash payments), although she worked for Giuliani for a year. Miss Dunphy explains her behavior by saying that she met Giuliani when she was in a difficult life situation, including ending an abusive relationship. According to the lawsuit, on his first day of work, Giuliani kissed his employee and client, and then began demanding nude photos of her. A few days later, while on a business trip, she stayed at Giuliani’s invitation in his penthouse, he forced her to perform oral sex on him, after which sexual relations became a habit. At the same time, the plaintiff refers to the fact that Giuliani behaved exactly the same way as was the case with the hidden camera in the Sacha Baron Cohen show.

Against this background, it seems trivial that Giuliani showed the plaintiff private documents of his clients, used her computer to work with documents of clients, including the Trump family. She also witnessed conversations that should be protected by attorney-client privilege, such as discussions of strategy for the Mueller investigation and various business proposals. By the way, one of these proposals was a pardon by the President for $2 million (although I personally do not understand whether Giuliani was showing off or really telling the truth). Well, where would we be without the homophobic and racial rhetoric that Giuliani used constantly... All this turned into a lawsuit in 22 episodes of battery/physical violence, Crime of Violence Motivated by Gender/crime related to the use of violence and motivated by gender, discrimination based on gender, sexual harassment, creating a hostile work environment, dismissal as retaliation, breach of contract, violation of minimum wage, refusal to pay for overtime beyond normal working hours, and others.

The plaintiff is seeking at least $10 million and punitive damages from the defendants.
