Cop Shot 11-Year-Old Boy Who Called Him
Nacala Merry, from Indianola, Mississippi, asked her 11-year-old son Aderrien to call the police after his “angry” father came home at 4 a.m. Upon arrival, a police officer with a gun drawn told everyone in the house to leave. However, in the living room, the cop met Aderrien, whom he shot in the chest. The boy was urgently hospitalized. He was found to have a collapsed lung, broken ribs and a ruptured liver. He has now been discharged from the hospital. The boy's family is calling for the officer to be fired, but the police will only respond by saying they are "investigating the incident."
