Oleg Patsulya is in the USA illegally
On Monday, the issue of a preventive measure for Oleg Patsuli was supposed to be decided in Arizona, but at the request of the defense, the court postponed consideration of the issue. It is interesting that the accused has a lawyer by appointment: apparently, all the money earned from illegal supplies was spent on an apartment, a BMW and a motor boat.
At the same time, there is a very high probability that Patsulya will be arrested: if earlier I believed that he had a chance to show his connection with the United States in order to remain free, then the prosecutor’s office’s request for arrest dispelled all doubts. It turned out that Patsulya was in the United States illegally: he arrived on a business visa in January 2022 and remained in the country after its expiration date. Moreover, in the month of expiration of his period of stay in the country, the accused married a US citizen, but, as the prosecutor’s office points out, he does not live with her, but for some reason with his ex-wife in that same luxurious complex in Florida. At the same time, the prosecutor's office insists that the accused constantly lies and violates the law both in the field of export and in the migration sphere, and with a foreign passport and experience of international travel, he can easily escape if he remains free.
