Fake doctor from California treated people for cancer
In North Hollywood (California), 43-year-old Stefan Gevorkian practiced medicine without a license for several years. During this time, more than a thousand patients passed through his Pathways Medical clinic, including people suffering from such serious diseases as cancer. An undercover policeman came to Gevorkyan and exposed the would-be doctor. District Attorney George Gascón said that during that test, Gevorkian "did not pay attention to abnormal levels of a hormone that could indicate a serious illness."
“Practicing medicine without a license is not only a criminal activity in California, it can cause irreparable harm to the health of unsuspecting people, some of whom have serious medical conditions and believe they are under the care of a licensed physician,” Gascón said.
