Popular water bottles may be dangerous due to lead poisoning

Researchers analyzed bottles from the famous Bindle brand and found “extremely high levels of lead” in many models. In addition, the products were found to contain bisphenol A, a carcinogen, although the brand claims to sell BPA-free bottles. Consumer Reports experts urge people to stop using Bindle bottles immediately.

Previously, company representatives stated that the bottles do contain lead, but it is located outside at the junction of the components and does not pose a threat to human health. According to the manufacturer, there is no lead in the container itself where the water is poured.
