5 unusual places for tourism in the USA

I've already visited 35 states and have a lot to share with travelers who are bored with typical Los Angeles and New York. Remember, I promised to show you not the most popular cities to visit in America? I have highlighted for you five cool places that I liked the most:

1. Sarasota in Florida takes the first place in my top

We traveled around Florida, along its western part, and stopped in different cities. One of these cities was the American St. Petersburg, which had nothing in common with the Russian one, as well as Clearwater, where you wanted to enjoy the purest water, as you might guess from the name. As a result, we didn’t like the beaches there at all, but Sarasota surprisingly has the best coastline in America. A very cozy resort town, not as famous as those listed above, but definitely worth your attention if you find yourself in those parts.

 2. Charleston, South Carolina is very underrated by tourists.

I found out about him when I came to America. And that’s only because my friend lived there. Honestly, this is the most beautiful American city I've been to. The US doesn't have as much history as Europe, so finding historical masterpieces like Charleston is crazy. It resembles Boston, but Boston is too hyped, is associated with red bricks and Harvard, and evokes a slightly different feeling in terms of atmosphere. There are also cute streets reminiscent of Italy or France, ivy everywhere, entwining trees and buildings, cobblestones and houses left over from the colonial period. I only spent one day in Charleston, but the experience will last a lifetime.

 3. Alexandria, Virginia is third on my list.

This city is located near the District of Columbia, where the US capital, Washington, is located. We were just heading there when we found Alexandria. What can I say? This is also an incredible masterpiece in European style. It is clear that it is a very wealthy city, where you want to take a break from the bustle of the metropolis, grab a cup of coffee, walk around the center and sit on a bench in the park. It seems to me that this is not the most American pastime, but in Alexandria I felt like that. Super nice place that I would definitely return to.

 4. Nashville in Tennessee, although well-known, is rarely chosen for tourism by foreigners

I had heard a lot about this city for a long time and was really looking forward to meeting it. The impressions exceeded expectations as never before. Nashville's calling card is live music. She's literally everywhere! You can feel the soul of the city and a purely American country atmosphere there. You definitely need to come there for longer, unlike the previous towns on my list. Nashville has something in common with American metropolises, but is rarely among the top destinations for foreign tourists.

 5. Moab, Utah, is famous for its Arches National Park.

Utah is not only Salt Lake City, but also a real miracle in nature. I love national parks, and Arches is one of my favorites. America is proud of its world-famous sand arches, which arose naturally with the help of water and wind. There are many national parks in the USA, but I recommend this one.

You find many diamonds in tourism either by accident, or on the advice of friends, or on tips from avid travelers and travel bloggers. I don’t count myself among the latter, but as soon as I visit the remaining 16 states of America, I’ll probably become an avid traveler. Take note of these places and remember that America is even wider and more diverse than what is shown in the movies.
