The Füde: Artist Charlie Anne Max Hosts Naked Dinners for $88
In New York and Los Angeles, Friday dinners have moved to a new level - who can surprise you with complex dishes? Now it is fashionable to dine completely naked in the company of the same absolutely naked people. The experience is so unusual that the food is not the main event of the evening. The naked events were started by artist Charlie Ann Max. She got the idea in 2014, when she and her bohemian friends suddenly decided to hang out without clothes. It was weird, but they liked the feeling of freedom. And for three years now, Charlie Ann Max has been hosting The Füde naked dinners - first only for her own people, and now anyone who is willing to strip naked in front of a group of strangers and sit down to a vegetarian meal can do so for $88. It’s impossible to sign up - there are so many people interested. The theme of the dinners is always different: “Self-Love”, “Muses”, “Matriarchy”.
The age of participants is usually from 21 to 50 years. And, imagine, they are not perverts. And the most ordinary people with different needs: someone wants to accept themselves and their body, someone wants to make new, relaxed friends, someone wants to open up, someone wants to feel sexy. Everyone says that nudity gives you a different sense of yourself and others—an incredible openness. The main rules of the event are that absolutely everyone must be naked and there must be plenty of champagne (without it, it’s difficult to endure the first five minutes even for the most relaxed).
