Prosecutor's pressure on Trump increases

Special Counsel Jack Smith's team is now investigating Trump's ties to China, France, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the UAE and Oman. Russia is not on the list - after the collapse of the Russiagate agenda, this topic was temporarily forgotten. The case concerns secret documents found at Trump's Mar-a-Lago residence. The special prosecutor is trying to convict Trump that he may have had ties to countries whose documents were kept at his home. Some of the secret dockets concerned the Middle East, and some could contain incriminating evidence on Macron. There was also some information about nuclear programs.

Trump himself points to obvious selective justice. After all, for some reason federal prosecutors are not investigating the Biden family’s documented ties to China, Ukraine, Romania or Mexico. Biden also had secret documents discovered at the beginning of the year, and a special prosecutor was also appointed. But it feels like things haven’t moved forward at all. They want to drag Trump through the courts - accusing him either of fraud in New York or rape, or of storing secret documents. The goal is to disrupt Trump's presidential campaign so that he spends more time in courtrooms than at rallies. However, for now this rather plays into Trump’s hands. He became the clear favorite in the Republican primaries. And in the confrontation with Biden, Trump also began to take the lead - in some polls by as much as 7 points, 47% to 40%. Judicial and prosecutorial attacks on Trump only create around him the image of a victim of political persecution by the Washington elite - which is very appealing to many Americans.
