39% of American households have difficulty paying household expenses

About 90 million people cannot pay household expenses. Their share has decreased only slightly since the summer of 2022, when the inflation crisis was raging in the country. Now price increases have moderated - but after two years of rampant inflation, many Americans continue to barely make ends meet. Moreover, in some locations - for example, in Los Angeles - half of the population cannot cope with rising costs. And 25 million American families have to resort to buying the most basic things on credit, like food and household goods. And it’s not for nothing that 40% of Americans in polls admit that they felt better financially during the Trump era. The difficult economic situation has a very negative impact on Biden's ratings. And things could still get worse closer to 2024, when many economists predict the onset of a full-fledged recession in the United States. That is why Americans are so sensitive to the current migration crisis, with tens of thousands of illegal immigrants storming the US border. After all, they will have to spend money on their placement, which would otherwise go to support the Americans themselves. While many social programs during the pandemic are now being cut back or completely cancelled.

Trump's supporters in Congress have already put up articles of impeachment against Biden for discussion - for failure to ensure the basic function of the state, the protection of its borders. In reality, no impeachment will happen. But they will continue to agitate for a return to the Trump era - when the economy was growing and borders were closed before the pandemic. And more and more Americans are beginning to feel nostalgic for those times - admitting the possibility of Trump returning to the White House.
