“The 1619 Project” is a new trend for studying history in the USA

In the United States, for several years now - since the beginning of the BLM pogroms - a liberal revision of its own history has been ongoing. It touched on everything from the formation of the United States and the Civil War all the way to modern times. The US participation in World War II did not escape this revision. Last year, Virginia Tech published a sociology study the Pentagon conducted on American soldiers during the war. Their generation has traditionally maintained a very warm attitude in society. Sociologists were seriously outraged that American soldiers during World War II did not comply with modern standards of tolerance. They discussed cultural and racial differences very openly. Whites did not want to serve with blacks, and the latter were outraged by discrimination on the part of the southerners. The soldiers strongly opposed women's service in the army.

The American military called Russian soldiers the most powerful army of World War II, with the Germans in second place. The Japanese were in sixth place out of eight. This mischief so disturbed the Pentagon that they began conducting special lessons for soldiers about the resilience of the Japanese.

Now the main trend for studying history in the United States is the “1619 Project” - it examines the entire American past through the prism of racism and oppression of minorities. And the very formation of the United States is interpreted as an episode of the planters’ struggle to preserve slavery. It is not surprising that this audit eventually affected the participants in World War II. And the surviving World War II veterans can only mourn the America they fought for - and which no longer exists.
